This round, fluffy hedgehog has rolled itself into a cozy ball, and its smiling face peeks out from a big circle of spiky, jagged fur. Wide shiny eyes, a small round nose and tiny rounded ears make it look sweet and friendly, and both little paws are tucked up under its chin. Short tufts of grass run along the bottom of the page, with three veined leaves resting on the ground in front. The big spiky sections are simple to fill in, while the detailed fur gives older kids something to chew on. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big spiky body, back spines, and spiky arms with chocolate brown, leaving the grass and background white.
- 2Color the face, belly, and lower face cream, keeping the small shine spots in the eyes white.
- 3Paint the inside of both ears baby pink and the two paws warm tan.
- 4Color the large leaf on the left golden yellow and the large leaf on the right tangerine orange.
- 5Fill the three small leaves in the middle and at the bottom with lemon yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker brown strokes on the spines to give the hedgehog more texture.
