Cupid Spreading Love With a Heart Arrow

Coloring guide
Standing barefoot on a puffy cloud, a curly-haired little cupid pulls back his bow and smiles as he takes aim. The arrowhead is shaped like a heart. He has small feathered wings, big shiny eyes and a cloth draped around his waist with a round clasp at the hip. The bow curls decoratively at the top, and seven outlined hearts of different sizes float around him on a plain white background. Clean, bold outlines and large open areas suit younger kids with crayons or chunky markers, and the curls, feathers and cloud edges give older kids more to work on. Soft pink wings and bright red hearts would look good, with a pale blue cloud so everything pops. Free to print for Valentine's cards, classroom activities or a calm afternoon at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cloud at the bottom: fill it with sky blue, leaving the edges of the puffs clean.
- 2Color the curly hair with golden yellow, then fill the face, belly, arms and legs with light peach.
- 3Paint both wings and the lower right wing sky blue, leaving a small highlight on the upper right wing white.
- 4Fill the cloth around the waist and hanging at the left with cream white, and use golden orange for the bow.
- 5Color the arrow heart and the floating hearts with cherry red and coral pink, alternating between the two.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker peach along the edges of the arms and legs for depth, and leave the background and the small cloth gap white.
