A cheerful teddy bear stands on two feet and holds up a big heart-shaped balloon in one paw. The string trails down from a little knot at the bottom of the heart. The bear has round ears, big shiny eyes, a button nose, a happy smile and a tuft of fur on its head. A large oval tummy patch gives you an easy space to color. Two daisy-style flowers with round centers sit in tufts of grass on either side of the bear's feet. Thick, clear outlines are friendly to preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or chunky markers. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the bear's head, raised paw, body, and legs with caramel brown, leaving the ears' inner areas for later.
- 2Color the belly oval and the muzzle around the nose with light peach.
- 3Fill the inner parts of both ears with baby pink.
- 4Color the small knot at the bottom of the heart balloon coral red.
- 5Fill the two flower centers with golden yellow, keeping the petals, grass, and heart balloon white.
- 6Optional: add a darker brown shadow along one side of the bear's body to give it some depth.
