Descendants Boy with Baby Dragon and Gift Wagon
Coloring guide
Here a smiling boy in a short cape and boots walks a winding path next to a friendly baby dragon. The little dragon wears a harness and tugs a wooden wagon piled with wrapped presents, every one topped with a big bow. Look for its small horns, tiny wings, curly tail and happy open-mouthed grin. The boy holds a small stick and glances over with bright eyes. Two round leafy trees, bushes and tufts of grass line the curving trail behind them. The big gift boxes and wagon wheels are roomy shapes for younger kids, and the smooth dragon and plain cape leave space to get creative. Green for the dragon and royal purple for the cape would look great, and each present can get its own wrapping-paper pattern. Download it as a free PDF for a quick coloring break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background: color the path in light tan and the grass tufts and bushes in grass green, leaving the little dashes on the path white.
- 2Fill the trees with grass green canopies and light brown trunks, then color the dragon's body and head in grass green, keeping the eye whites, horn tips and claws white.
- 3Color the wagon wood in brown and its wheels in dark gray, then add the gift boxes in bright red, golden yellow, violet purple, rose pink and hot pink, leaving small highlights white.
- 4Dress the boy: color his hair light brown, his shirt sky blue, his pants ivory and his boots brown, then add the red cape with dark red shading on the inner folds.
- 5Add the golden yellow wing and bows, the caramel harness straps and the dark gray shadow behind the dragon.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of grass green on the dragon's belly and tail for depth, and a little extra dark gray under the wheels.
