Elf Curled Up on the Ground in a Tall Curved Hat

A cheerful elf sits on the ground with both knees pulled up and arms wrapped around its legs. The elf wears a tall pointed hat that curves slightly at the tip, and a scalloped collar with a zigzag edge sits at the neck. The face has big round eyes with long lashes, a small curved nose, rosy cheeks and a gentle smile. The head tilts a little to one side, and a curl of hair frames the ear. The long sleeves and pants are plain, with soft mittens or rounded hands resting near the feet. The large open areas on the outfit make this easy for younger kids to color. Try red and white for the hat and collar and a different color for the sleeves and pants, then talk about which colors feel most like the holidays. This free printable also works well for practicing crayon control on the long smooth lines.
