Two hands meet in the middle of the page to make one big heart, with thumbs and fingertips touching. Each wrist has a striped cuff like a sweater sleeve, which gives you fun bands to color. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the two hands and wrists in peach, filling the large skin areas and the thumbs, and leave the heart opening between the fingers white.
- 2Color both sleeves in sky blue, shading the stripes and cuff lines so the bands stand out.
- 3Fill the big star at the bottom and the two upper stars in bright yellow, keeping their outlines crisp.
- 4Color the top heart in cherry red and the four side hearts in hot pink.
- 5Finish the small bottom left star in sky blue and the small bottom right star in emerald green.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker peach near the thumbs and fingers to give the hands some depth.
