Puppy and Cat Love Cuddle in a Big Heart

Coloring guide
A smiling puppy with floppy ears, an open mouth and its tongue out sits tall next to a content cat. The cat rests its head against the puppy's cheek with eyes closed in a happy squeeze. The puppy wears a collar with a little bone-shaped tag, and the cat has striped markings on its head plus a long, curled, striped tail that wraps up the right side of the page. One large heart outlines the pair, with two small hearts floating on either side and small tufts of grass by their paws. Bold, clear lines suit young colorers, and the fluffy fur gives older kids detail to enjoy. Golden yellow for the puppy, orange stripes for the cat and a bright red collar will make that bone tag stand out. Free to print for friendship or Valentine's activities. Kids who like Love coloring pages usually enjoy Adult Coloring and Color by Number (Adult) too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the dog's head, chest, and tail, and the cat's body and head in golden orange, leaving the white eye shines untouched.
- 2Fill the cat's ears, the cat's front paw, and the cat's cheeks with light gold to add soft warm highlights.
- 3Color the cat's tail, back legs, and the stripes on its body and tail with burnt orange, following the curves of the lines.
- 4Add the dog's collar in sky blue and the bone tag in light gray, then fill the dog's tongue and the inner ears with soft pink.
- 5Color the two small hearts in bright red, and finish with the dog's back leg and the cat's forehead stripes in burnt orange.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra burnt orange shading along the edges of the dog's and cat's bodies for a bit more depth.
