Hiking Friends in a Mushroom Forest, Descendants Coloring
Coloring guide
Three smiling friends stroll side by side down a forest path: a spiky-haired boy on the left, and two long-haired, wavy-haired girls in the middle and on the right. Each of them carries a backpack, and two have hoodies with front pockets. Jeans or cargo pants and chunky sneakers complete the outfits. A small arched wooden bridge crosses a stream behind them, and twisty old trees frame the page. Giant spotted mushrooms, leafy bushes and tufts of grass fill the edges, and little flying bugs hover among the branches. Crayons or markers will have lots of room on the big hoodies and mushroom caps. Red caps with white spots and soft greens for the leaves would look nice. A free printable for kids who enjoy detailed nature scenes. This fits right in with our Descendants coloring pages — see also Princesses and Frozen.

- 1Start with the greenery: fill the bushes, grass and leaves with leaf green and lime green, keeping the top gap in the trees white.
- 2Color the tree trunks and branches with warm brown and khaki tan, and the mushroom stems with cream.
- 3Fill the boy's hoodie and the middle girl's hoodie with royal blue and pink, and the right girl's shirt with golden yellow.
- 4Color the jeans: denim blue for the middle girl and pale blue for the right girl, with olive green for the boy's pants.
- 5Add red to the mushroom caps and sky blue to the stream, leaving the white spots and the bridge white.
- 6Finish with peach skin on faces and hands, and warm brown for the hair. Optional: add slightly darker shading on the hoodies and tree trunks for depth.
