Teacher With Bob Haircut Holding Alphabet Book

Six small steps show a smiling teacher with a bob haircut taking shape, starting with just a face and neck. Next come her hair, an open jacket and a collared shirt with buttons down the front. Then a long skirt, round shoes and one arm stretched out holding a thin pointer stick. In her other hand she carries an open book with a big letter Aa on the page. The last box shows the finished drawing in color, with a brown pointer, a red letter and a purple pair of shoes. Print the page for a classroom or a rainy afternoon and let kids follow along step by step. Then they can color their own teacher, picking a jacket, skirt and shoe colors. The letter Aa also makes a nice cue for talking about the first sounds in the alphabet.
