A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sea behind the kids: color the waves in ocean blue and sky blue, adding icy blue foam near the shoreline and leaving the sand areas white.
- 2Fill the skin of both kids and the girl's legs and arms with peach skin, keeping the seagull and sand white.
- 3Color the boy's shorts with bright blue and the red bucket with bright red, and add a little sandy yellow to the sand around the feet and bucket.
- 4Give the girl's hair and the boy's hair honey gold and chocolate brown, then color the girl's swimsuit with rose pink and blush pink stripes, leaving the white stripes uncolored.
- 5Color the ice cream scoops: lemon yellow, strawberry pink and chocolate brown, with the waffle cones in warm tan, then finish the seagull legs in sandy yellow. Optional: add a little darker tone along the bottom of each scoop for depth.
