Winter Cat in a Chunky Scarf Strolling by a Snowman

Coloring guide
Here comes a fluffy kitten with big shiny eyes and a happy smile, walking right toward you through the snow with its tail curled high. The chunky knitted scarf around its neck has fringed ends, so there's lots of cozy texture to color. Back behind the kitten stands a snowman in a pom-pom beanie and a striped scarf, with twig arms and a row of round buttons. Snowy evergreen trees and rolling hills fill the background, and a trail of little paw prints leads back across the ground. A bright red or teal scarf would pop nicely against all that white, and a soft gray or orange coat works well for the kitten. Print it at home for classroom time or a rainy afternoon. This fits right in with our Cats coloring pages — see also Farm Animals and Tiger.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cat: fill its head, body, raised tail, legs and ears in light orange, leaving the big eye whites and the snowy background white.
- 2Color the pine trees in forest green, keeping the snowy tips and top tiers white.
- 3Fill the snowman's hat and scarf with bright red, then color the carrot nose in deep orange.
- 4Color the paw prints in sky blue and give the cat's small nose a soft pink touch. Keep the snowman's face and body white.
- 5Optional: Color the cat's back paw in cream and the knitted scarf in forest green for a cozy finish.
