Lone Wolf Howling From a Rounded Hilltop

A lone wolf stands on top of a rounded hill with its head tipped back and its mouth open in a howl. A big plain circle for the full moon hangs in the sky to the upper left, and five small stars are scattered around the page. The wolf is drawn in bold outline, with shaggy fur along the neck and chest, one ear pointing back, and thin lines marking the legs and the bushy tail. The hill is just a simple curved line, so there is lots of open space for backgrounds. Try a deep blue or purple night sky with the moon left white or colored pale yellow, then use grays and browns on the wolf. This free printable also works well for a quick talk about why wolves howl and how they communicate with their pack.
