Love Blooms Behind Three Smiling Flowers

Coloring guide
This simple line drawing puts three happy daisy-style flowers in front of one big, empty heart. The tallest one stands in the middle with rounded petals, two dot eyes, a little curved smile and cheeks just waiting for some rosy color. A smaller flower sits on each side. All three have thin stems and pointed leaves at the bottom. Nothing is drawn inside the heart, so kids can fill it with a solid color, a pattern or a handwritten message. Bold outlines and large shapes keep things easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids. A bright pink or red heart looks great with yellow, orange and purple petals around it. - rose red
- lavender purple
- soft pink
- leaf green
- sky blue
- golden yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big heart in rose red, using smooth, even strokes across the whole shape.
- 2Color the three flower centers in golden yellow, leaving the little eyes and smiles as they are for now.
- 3Fill the petals of the middle flower in lavender purple, then the petals of the left flower in sky blue and the petals of the right flower in soft pink.
- 4Color the stems and the three leaves in leaf green, working from the bottom leaves up to the small leaves on the stem.
- 5Optional: Add a little shading at the edges of the petals and heart with a slightly darker shade to give a bit of depth.
