Marching Elf Banging a Drum Among Music Notes

A cheerful elf with freckles and an open, smiling mouth marches along while beating a small drum with two drumsticks. He wears a floppy pointed hat with a pom-pom at the tip, pointed ears, and a jagged-edged tunic. His arms and legs are drawn with striped bands, like candy canes or striped stockings, and one foot is kicked up high mid-step. The drum has a zigzag pattern around its side. Three music notes float at the upper right, and a sprig of holly with berries sits in the top left corner. Bumpy snowy ground runs along the bottom. Try coloring the stripes on the arms and legs in alternating red and green so they pop against the plain tunic. This free printable also works well for a music lesson, since kids can count the notes and tap out a steady marching beat while they color.
