Night Sky Camping Scene with Tent, Fire and Mountains

A dome tent with its front flaps tied back sits in a grassy clearing. In the bottom corner, a crackling campfire is ringed with round stones, and a fallen log nearby shows the ring pattern on its cut end. A jagged mountain range stands behind the tent under a night sky with a crescent moon, stars in different sizes and small dots. Pine trees frame each side, and on the right you'll see leafy bushes and a patch of rippling water, with tufts of grass spread over the ground. The big open areas of the tent and mountains are simple for little hands, and the stars and flames give older kids finer work. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the tent: fill the whole tent roof and side walls with tangerine orange, leaving the thin dark outlines untouched.
- 2Color the tent doorway interior with olive brown, then fill the curtains and their tiebacks with golden yellow.
- 3Color the tent floor strip and the log with chocolate brown, and add a bit of fiery red on the right tent edge.
- 4Fill the pine trees, the bushes and the tree shadow with forest green and dark green, and color the lake water with sky blue.
- 5Color the big campfire flames with fiery red on the outside and amber orange on the inside, then color the fire logs with chocolate brown.
- 6Finish with light gray for the rocks around the fire and lemon yellow for the stars. Optional: add a little shading on the rocks and tent to make them look more rounded.
