Rainy Day Squirrel with a Leaf Umbrella
Coloring guide
Raindrops fall all around this smiling squirrel, who sits upright holding a big leaf over its head like an umbrella. The fluffy tail curls up behind it, and wide eyes, little buck teeth and whiskers give it a cheerful look. An oak tree trunk rises behind the squirrel, with scalloped leaves and clusters of acorns hanging from the branches. Grass tufts grow at the base of the tree, and a rain puddle with ripples spreads across the foreground. Large shapes and clear outlines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. Try warm reddish-brown for the squirrel and tail, green for the leaf umbrella, and golden tan for the acorns. Download and print this free page for kids and grown-up coloring fans alike.
