Sea and Sky Pteranodon Dinosaur Coloring Page

Coloring guide
This cheerful pteranodon, with its long pointed beak and tall head crest, soars across the sky. Its big leathery wings are stretched wide, and fold lines run through each one to make fun sections to color. The little dino has a round, friendly eye, an open smiling mouth and two small feet tucked up under its body. Around it you will see a bright sun with short rays, three puffy clouds, and rows of wavy lines at the bottom that look like the sea. Large shapes and clean outlines make this free printable a good one for preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or markers. Orange or purple wings look great, and soft blues for the waves help the pteranodon stand out against the water and sky. - 2Color the three clouds in pale blue, then fill the bottom strip of waves in sky blue and the middle wave strip in ocean blue.
- 3Fill all the wing membranes, including the wing tip, in orange, keeping the wing bones uncolored.
- 4Color the pteranodon body, arm, and feet in lavender purple, then add the wing finger bone in deep violet.
- 5Add a coral pink tongue inside the open beak and leave the eye white so it looks bright.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the lower edges of the wings and body to give them depth.
