Sleepy Bunny Cuddling an Easter Egg

Coloring guide
On this peaceful page, a sleepy bunny rests its head on a big egg with one front paw draped over the top. It has closed eyes, a tiny smile, whiskers, one upright ear, one floppy ear and a fluffy round tail. The egg is decorated with wavy lines, a zigzag band and rows of big polka dots, so young artists have lots of patterns to fill in. A few grass tufts and three simple flowers sit around the bottom. Large, clear outlines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the free printable is nice for a quiet Easter afternoon. Try purple and yellow pastel stripes on the egg, soft pink inside the ears and bright petals on the flowers. Fans of Easter coloring pages often like Disney Easter and Fall as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the bunny's head, body, far ear and thigh with warm tan, leaving the little eye lines and whiskers as they are.
- 2Fill the inside of the tall left ear and the inside of the right ear with baby pink.
- 3Paint the front paw and the fluffy tail with cream white, keeping a soft edge where they meet the body.
- 4Color the big egg's top and bottom sections with golden yellow, then add the wavy stripes in soft lilac, rose pink and sky blue.
- 5Fill the three round dots on the egg with golden yellow and add the small flowers in lavender purple, sky blue, baby pink and golden yellow centers.
- 6Color the grass tufts with leaf green, and optionally add a little extra shading on the bunny's body in a darker tan for depth.
