Sleepy Cat Curled Into a Ball

Coloring guide
This sleepy kitten has curled into a cozy circle, head resting on two little front paws, eyes shut and a peaceful smile on its face. It's a tabby-style cat with stripes on the forehead, pointed ears, long whiskers on each side and a big striped tail wrapped around its body. Paw pads and toes are drawn with simple lines, so small hands can color them without much trouble. No background here, which keeps all the attention on the kitten and leaves plenty of white space. Orange or soft gray for the body works well, with darker brown stripes and a pink nose and inner ears. Print or download this free page whenever you need a new sheet. Looking for more? - soft pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big head, curled body and tail sections with golden orange, leaving the two front paws white.
- 2Fill the tabby stripes on the forehead, the back and the tail with warm brown.
- 3Color the inside of both ears and the small nose soft pink.
- 4Leave the paws and any small highlights white so they stand out against the orange fur.
- 5Optional: add a little extra warm brown along the shadowed edges under the head and body for depth.
