Papaya Fruit Halves Pulled Apart to Show Packed Seeds

Coloring guide
A papaya has been cut open and the halves are shown slightly apart. The upper half has its cut side facing up, with a long pointed oval hollow in the middle that is packed with round and oval seeds in all different sizes. The lower half sits just below it, tilted at an angle, with a second row of seeds along its curved inner edge. Short dashes on the skin suggest shine and texture, and the outlines are thick and clean. That makes the page easy for small hands to color. Try orange or salmon for the flesh, pale yellow-green for the skin, and dark brown or black for the seeds. It also works well for a quick talk about what is inside fruits. Print as many copies as you like for a classroom snack-time activity.
