A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the groundhog's body, belly, legs, paws, tail and both ears with warm brown, leaving the teeth white.
- 2Color the cheeks and the light stripes by the whiskers with pale tan.
- 3Paint the sky on both sides of the mountains with sky blue, keeping the snowy peaks white.
- 4Color the grassy mound and the burrow's grass with forest green, then the grass at the bottom left with leaf green and its stem with lime green.
- 5Fill the burrow entrance and all the rocks with light gray, keeping the flower petals and centers white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker brown lines along the body and tail to give the fur some depth.
