A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the back plates along the dinosaur's spine and the tail spikes, filling them with coral orange and leaving thin lines visible.
- 2Color the dinosaur's body and tail with lime green, leaving the small round spots white.
- 3Fill the dirt ground and path with sandy tan, then add light gray to the rocks and the river edges.
- 4Use sky blue for the sky and steel blue for the river water, keeping the clouds white.
- 5Add medium green and dark green to the trees, bushes, palms and ferns around the scene, and color the distant mountain in brown.
- 6Optional: Add a few golden yellow spots on the back and a little shading on the rocks, then leave the eye and teeth white.
