Man With a Quill in a Long Open Coat

Man With a Quill in a Long Open Coat coloring sheet

Coloring guide

Six small panels show how to build a cartoon man in simple steps. It starts with an oval head and a plain rectangle for the body. Next come a collar and a pair of legs, then a long open coat with a vest underneath, short pants and oval shoes. After that the arms stretch out to each side and swept-back hair is added. In the last black-and-white drawing he holds a feather quill in one hand and a curled paper scroll in the other, with buttons down the front of the coat. The final panel shows a colored version with a green coat, a yellow-green vest, black hair and a red feather. This free printable works well for kids learning to draw with basic shapes. Try following the steps first, then color your own drawing to match the example or pick your own colors.
