Strawberry Snack for Two Ladybugs on a Mushroom

Coloring guide
Two smiling ladybugs perch side by side on a big spotted mushroom cap, sharing one strawberry. They have round eyes, curved antennae and wing shells covered in large circle spots, so there's lots of room for little hands. The mushroom cap has big oval and round spots, thin lines under the rim, and a wide stem with a wavy skirt. At the bottom, tall grass blades surround five-petal flowers, with two large blooms in the corners and smaller ones by the stem. Thick, clear outlines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the page is nice for a quiet afternoon. Red on the strawberry and wings, with soft yellow or purple flowers, will help the ladybugs pop. Browse more Ladybug coloring pages, or explore Crab and Monkey for even more fun.

- 1Color the mushroom cap, both ladybug wings and the strawberry with tomato red, leaving the round spots white.
- 2Fill the mushroom stem and the gills under the cap with cream beige.
- 3Color both ladybug heads with light peach, leaving the eye whites and shiny highlights white.
- 4Fill the ladybug bodies, arms and legs with dark gray, then add jet black to the wing spots and the outline areas.
- 5Color the grass blades and leaves with bright green, add forest green on the darker leaves, and give the flower centers a golden yellow touch while leaving the petals white.
- 6Optional: add a little medium gray shadow under the flowers and along the bottom of the mushroom for depth.
