Two Cats Playing on a Tall Cat Tree

Coloring guide
One striped kitten clings to the rope-wrapped scratching post with its front paws, tail curled behind it and a happy little grin on its face. A second kitten lies curled up on the round base below, looking out with big eyes. The cat tree has a cushioned bed on top, two round platforms in the middle, and a toy ball with a feather tail dangling from the top perch. A leafy houseplant in a pot sits in the bottom left corner on a wooden plank floor. Stripes on the kittens' tails, legs and backs give little ones plenty to color. Warm orange and brown stripes suit the climber, soft gray the resting kitten, and bright red or blue the dangling toy. Print or download this free page for a fun afternoon activity. Looking for more? - 1Start with the two cats: fill both orange cats with bright orange, leaving their paws, chests and eye whites white.
- 2Color the cats' inner ears soft pink and add a little soft pink to the mouth area, keeping the teeth white.
- 3Fill the cat tree with sandy tan for the posts' darker rings and pale beige for the lighter rings, then color the bed and platforms soft cream with sandy tan edges.
- 4Color the floor planks honey brown, leave the wall white, and fill the pot with sky blue and the plant leaves with leaf green and lime green.
- 5Finish the hanging toy with sky blue for the ball and golden yellow for the tassel, leaving the shiny highlights white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker orange strokes on the cats' stripes and tail to make them look more lively.
