Wheelbarrow Full of Pumpkins and a Garden-Working Hedgehog
Coloring guide
Walking upright on two feet, a smiling hedgehog pushes a wooden wheelbarrow piled with round, ribbed pumpkins and a few leaves. The garden around him is packed with things to color. There are big cabbages in front and along the left edge, rows of carrots with feathery tops on the right, and a wooden picket fence behind. Bushes and a leafy tree fill the background, and autumn leaves drift down and lie scattered on the path. His spiky back is drawn with many pointed lines, so it's great for careful colorers, while the cabbages and pumpkins give younger kids bigger areas. Orange for the pumpkins, soft green for the cabbages and light brown for the wheelbarrow would look lovely. Print the free PDF for a fun afternoon. This fits right in with our Hedgehog coloring pages — see also Pig and Sheep.

- 3Color the pumpkins in bright orange, one at a time, starting with the ones in the front of the wheelbarrow.
- 4Paint the cabbages and bushes in bright green, lime green and leaf green, and the tree in grass green.
- 5Fill the fence posts and rails with cream, and the dirt ground with sandy tan and dark brown.
- 6Optional: Leave the sky and the highlight shapes on the leaves white for a sunny, airy look.
