A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the cat's head, body, tail and paws with warm orange, leaving the two big eye whites bright white.
- 2Color both book covers and the spine ocean blue, then add golden yellow stars to the front covers.
- 3Paint the pages of the open book cream, keeping them light so they stand out against the blue covers.
- 4Color the tall wizard hat deep purple, add a golden yellow band across it, and fill the stars and the tip ball with golden yellow.
- 5Use coral pink for the inner ears and the open mouth, and bright orange for the ear outlines; color the small sparkles sky blue and leave the background white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the cat's belly and under the hat brim for depth.
