Apple Tree Coloring Sheet with Basket and Fallen Apples

A big round apple tree with a scalloped, leafy crown takes up the whole page. Seven large apples hang among loose, scattered leaves, and each one has its own little stem and leaf, so they're simple for small hands to color. At the bottom of the thick trunk, a woven basket with a looped handle sits on the left, while three more apples lie in the grass on the right with small grass tufts around them. Bold outlines and roomy shapes work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and counting the apples makes a nice bonus activity. Mix red, green and yellow apples for a harvest look, and save warm browns for the basket weave and trunk. A free printable for fall classrooms or a calm afternoon at home.
