Baby Yeti With a Snowball in Its Paws

Coloring guide
This little baby yeti is sitting in a snowy mound, grinning with an open mouth and holding a round snowball in both fuzzy hands. You'll see big sparkling eyes, a small round nose, a messy tuft of hair on top and a round ear on each side. The soft furry body has jagged edges, and the big feet face forward with paw pads that show three toes and a large center pad. Simple snowflakes and little snow dots float around it, and gentle curved snow hills run along the bottom. Bold, clean outlines and roomy shapes make this free printable a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Light blue or lavender fur looks nice with white highlights on the snowball, and bright pink would be fun for the paw pads. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the face, both ears, and the skin between the toes with peach, leaving the eye whites and the fur around the head white.
- 2Fill the big foot pads and the round toe pads on both feet with caramel brown.
- 3Color the left arm of the yeti, the one on the left side of the picture, with light gray, while the snowball, right arm, and lower body fur stay white.
- 4Color the nose with steel blue and the open mouth with soft pink, keeping the little teeth area and eye shines white.
- 5Color the three snowflakes in the sky and on the sides with ice blue.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of darker peach or light gray along the edges of the face and arm to give a soft, fluffy shadow.
