Skating Yeti With a Pom-Pom Hat

Coloring guide
Gliding over the ice with one leg kicked up behind him and both arms stretched wide for balance, this furry yeti looks like he's having a great time. He's wearing a ribbed knit hat with a big pom-pom, and his shaggy fur, round nose, bright eyes and open smile make him look friendly. Both feet are in lace-up ice skates, and curved lines on the ice show where he's already been. Snow-covered evergreens and soft snowy hills fill the background. Large open shapes and bold outlines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the fuzzy fur edges give older kids some detail to work on. A pale icy blue would suit the fur, with a bright red or purple hat to make him stand out in the snow. It's free to print for winter fun at home or in class. - 2Fill the knit hat and its pom-pom with bright red, leaving the thin stripe lines dark.
- 3Color both skate boots royal blue and the mittens and skate cuffs light blue.
- 4Paint the yeti's nose sky blue and the open smile salmon pink, keeping the teeth white.
- 5Color the pine trees forest green and moss green, leaving the snowy tops and the snowy patches on the trees white.
- 6Fill the ice rink and the snowbank with pale blue, keeping the snow areas and the ice shine white. Optional: add a little darker blue along the edges of the ice for depth.
