Yeti Adding a Carrot Nose to a Snowman

Coloring guide
A smiling, shaggy yeti leans over to press a carrot nose into a snowman's face, with his other hand resting gently on top of the snowman's head. He has big round eyes and a little tooth poking out of his grin, and his long fur is drawn in loose, wavy lines. The snowman wears a striped scarf with fringe on the ends, and has dot eyes, a dotted smile and three round buttons down his body. Two stick arms reach out to the sides. Behind the pair, snow-covered pine trees stand on rolling snowy hills. Younger kids will like the large shapes and clear outlines, while older ones can shade the fur. Soft brown or icy blue suits the yeti, and a red and white scarf helps the snowman pop. Print it free for a winter class activity or a cozy afternoon at home. This fits right in with our Yeti coloring pages — see also Mermaid and Pirate.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- pale ice blue
- forest green
- sky blue
- bright red
- brick red
- carrot orange
- charcoal black
- medium gray
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the yeti: fill its fur (head, arms, body and leg) with pale ice blue, leaving the eye whites and the snowy parts white.
- 2Color the yeti's big foot and eyebrows with sky blue to add some contrast.
- 3Fill the pine trees with forest green, keeping the snowy tips and branches white.
- 4Color the snowman's scarf bright red, then add brick red stripes across it.
- 5Add the carrot nose in carrot orange and fill the snowman's buttons and mouth with charcoal black and bright red.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of darker blue on the yeti's fur for depth, and leave the snowman and snow white.
