Cheerful Yeti Waving Hello in the Snow

Coloring guide
Here's a big shaggy yeti standing tall and waving with one raised hand, and it's hard not to smile back. The face is open and happy, with round eyes, a rounded nose, small ears and two little pointed teeth peeking out of the grin. Fluffy fur covers the body, with jagged edges along the arms, chest and legs and a tuft of hair standing up on top of the head. The other arm hangs down by its side. Big feet with round toes sit on a few lumpy mounds of snow along the bottom. Thick outlines and large open fur sections make it easy for small hands to fill in. Icy blues and soft purples look great on the fur, or let your child choose something surprising. It's a free printable for winter days, and it also works as a hello-themed activity for preschool and early elementary kids. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- chocolate brown
- light peach
- deep red
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big fur areas with chocolate brown: the head, the round belly, both legs, and the raised arm, leaving the small gaps beside the arm and body white.
- 2Fill the waving hand, the hand on the right side, both feet, the ears, and the forehead with light peach, including the fingers and toes.
- 3Color the inside of the open mouth with deep red, and leave the teeth white.
- 4Keep the eye whites and the snow mounds around the feet white so the yeti stands out against the ground.
- 5Optional: add a few light strokes of darker brown across the fur to give it a soft, textured look.
