Christmas Tree Decorating with a Friendly Yeti

Coloring guide
The star of this winter scene is a shaggy, smiling yeti reaching up to set a big star on top of a tall Christmas tree. The tree is covered in snowy branches, beaded garlands, round ornaments, a heart-shaped bauble, a snowflake ornament, small stars, and a teardrop-shaped decoration. Three wrapped presents with bows and a polka-dot box sit at the bottom. An icy cave opening with icicles hanging off the snowy rock is behind the yeti. Further back there's a frozen landscape with pine trees, a waterfall, and mountains under puffy clouds. With big fuzzy areas and smaller details mixed together, this free printable works for a wide range of ages. Go with icy blue and soft lavender for the fur, then red and gold for the ornaments and gift boxes. Fans of Yeti coloring pages often like Mermaid and Pirate as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the large tree in forest green, covering all the branches and leaving the snowy gaps white.
- 2Fill the cave rock walls and the rock on the left in warm gray, then add the frozen lake and far mountains in sky blue.
- 3Color the gifts at the bottom: the middle box in bright red, the front boxes with golden yellow and royal blue, and the rust orange bow accent.
- 4Add the ornaments and star: paint the top star golden yellow and the ornaments in bright red, pale blue, or royal blue, keeping their shiny highlights white.
- 5Color the distant pines and the mountain sides in pale blue, and leave the snow, the yeti's fur and face, and the eye whites white.
- 6Optional: add a little steel blue shading on the lower sides of the tree and the cave to make the scene feel deeper.
