Shy Baby Yeti Hiding Behind a Pine Tree

Coloring guide
A little shaggy yeti with big round eyes is peeking out from behind a tall, layered pine, one small hand gripping the edge of the trunk and a shy smile on its face. Its head has a fluffy, spiky mane, and there are more furry tufts at the shoulders and arm. The tree's scalloped, snow-covered branches widen toward the bottom, and the top is rounded with a thick cap of snow. Two snowy bushes with bare, branching twigs sit in the front on a gentle snowy ground line. The big open shapes on the tree and bushes are easy for small hands. Light icy blues and soft grays suit the snow, deep green fits the tree, and warm lavender or pale blue works for the fur. Free to print or download for all ages. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the yeti's fluffy head and body with warm brown, using short strokes to show the fur texture.
- 2Fill all the pine tree tiers and the bottom skirt of the tree with forest green, leaving the snow layers white.
- 3Color the yeti's face and the skin patch beside the right eye with light peach, keeping the big eye whites white.
- 4Color the tiny nose soft pink and add a little moss green to the bottom part of the left bush.
- 5Keep the snow on the treetop, the bushes and the eye whites white so the scene still looks wintry and bright.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of forest green or warm brown in the shaded parts to add depth.
