Skiing Yeti with a Streaming Scarf

Coloring guide
This big, fluffy yeti is flying downhill on skis with a wide grin. A patterned scarf streams out behind him in the wind, and he leans forward in ski boots, gripping a pole in each mitten-like hand. Little bumps and swirls in the snow trace his path. Tall evergreens stand on both sides, a forest of smaller pines fills the valley, a winding trail curves through, and jagged snow-capped mountains rise under a sky with a few puffy clouds. The shaggy fur has lots of small areas for careful coloring, and the scarf, skis, and poles are simpler spots for younger kids. Icy blue or lavender fur and a red and yellow striped scarf will stand out against the snow. Save it as a free PDF, no sign-up needed. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the big yeti body and chest with cream, leaving the snow and highlights white.
- 2Color the yeti face and horns with pale ice blue and sky blue, then add a coral pink tongue inside the smile.
- 3Fill the scarf with golden yellow, bright red, deep red, orange and light sky blue stripes, following its zigzag pattern.
- 4Color both skis bright red and the boots bright blue, adding charcoal gray buckles on the boots.
- 5Use sky blue and light sky blue for the mountains, pine green and dark forest green for the trees, and pale sage for the tree tops.
- 6Optional: Add a little pale ice blue to the snowy valley and leave the snow patches, cloud and tree highlights white for a crisp winter look.
