Snowball Fight With a Yeti and Two Kids

Coloring guide
A big, shaggy yeti with a wide grin lifts a snowball high over his head, ready to throw, and two bundled-up kids join the snowball fight on either side of him. On the left, the boy wears a pom-pom beanie, scarf, jacket and boots, with a snowball in one hand. On the right, the girl has a knit hat with a pom-pom, a scarf, a fur-trimmed coat and boots, and she's holding a snowball too. Snow-covered fir trees, cozy cottages with chimneys, a church steeple, a wooden fence and distant mountains fill the background, and small snowballs and bushes dot the ground. The yeti's thick, fluffy fur leaves lots of room for texture, so pale blue and white with soft gray shading would work. Kids who like winter scenes and detailed backgrounds will enjoy this free printable. Love this Yeti coloring page? You might also enjoy our Mermaid and Pirate coloring pages.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the yeti: fill its big body and lower legs with frost blue, then use ice blue for its head, raised arm, and the snowball-throwing fist area.
- 2Color the mountains and the distant hill in ice blue, and the far pine trees in leaf green, keeping the snowy trees and houses mostly white.
- 3Fill the left kid's jacket and hat with sky blue, the pants and lower legs with navy blue, and the scarf and mitten with bright red.
- 4Color the right girl's coat and sleeves with magenta pink, her pants with plum purple, her hood fur and boot fur with cream, and her mitten with plum purple.
- 5Add peach to both kids' faces, rose pink to the right girl's pompom, blush pink to the yeti's open mouth, and cherry red to the village house roof.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker frost blue shading under the yeti and the kids to make them pop, and leave the snowballs, teeth, eye whites, and snow ground white.
