Yeti Trimming a Christmas Tree

Coloring guide
Beside a big Christmas tree stands a shaggy, smiling yeti, hanging a round ornament on a branch with one hand and holding a star-shaped decoration in the other. The tree has a large star on top, two strings of beads draped across the branches and several ornaments with wavy line patterns to fill in. Three wrapped gift boxes with bows sit at the base, and two small pine trees stand in the snowy background. The yeti's fluffy fur is great for scribbly texture practice, and the bigger ornament shapes are easy for small hands. Icy light blue or soft lavender fur will let the red and gold ornaments and presents really stand out. This free printable works well for a holiday class activity or a quiet afternoon at home. - 1Start with the big yeti body and raised arm in light blue, leaving the snowy background white.
- 2Color the whole Christmas tree in forest green, then the gift boxes in bright red and deep blue.
- 3Fill the star on top, the gold ornaments and the gift bows in golden yellow, with the hanging star in amber gold.
- 4Add the red ornament stripes and the bright red gift ribbons, keeping the garland beads white.
- 5Finish the yeti's nose in bright blue, the open mouth in bright red, and the small trees with frost blue snow tips.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker blue strokes on the yeti's fur edges and a little gray shading under the trees for depth.
