Yeti Curled Up with a Book in His Ice Cave

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the big yeti body, head, arms and legs with pale ice blue, leaving the little fluffy gaps and the icicles at the top for later.
- 2Color the armchair and its cushion in forest green, then add the burnt orange cuff and cuffs on the sweater sleeve.
- 3Fill the cave walls, rocks and floor with taupe gray, and color the icicles hanging from the ceiling in pale ice blue.
- 4Color the open book cover in brick red and the book spine and lantern glow in golden yellow, keeping the page highlights white.
- 5Paint the window sky in sky blue, the mountains in steel blue and dark slate blue, and the toes in steel blue, then add the rug in tangerine orange and pale amber.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in taupe gray along the edges of the rocks and under the yeti to give the scene more depth.
