Friendly Fox Face with Fluffy Cheeks

Coloring guide
A friendly fox face fills the whole page, turned slightly to one side with big round eyes glancing off to the side and a soft, content smile. Each tall pointed ear has jagged fur drawn inside, and fluffy tufts on the cheeks and chest add lots of texture. Long whiskers sweep out from both sides of the muzzle, and a small rounded nose sits at the tip. With no background, kids can focus on the face itself. Thick outlines and large open areas keep it easy for young children, and the furry edges let older kids practice careful strokes. Try warm orange on the face and ears, with creamy white or yellow on the cheeks and chest. This free printable is good for a quiet afternoon or a classroom animal unit. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange areas: fill the fox head and chest fur with orange, using gentle strokes that follow the fur.
- 2Fill the inside of both ears with light pink, leaving a small gap along the edges.
- 3Color the cream tufts: the fluffy fur inside the right ear, the cheek fluff on the right side and the tip of the muzzle.
- 4Fill the nose with dark brown, keeping its shape neat.
- 5Leave the eye whites and the small shine spots in the pupils white so the eyes look bright.
- 6Optional: add a few lighter or darker strokes of orange or brown on the fur to give it a little texture.
