Big Yeti Hug for a Polar Bear Cub

Coloring guide
In this cozy winter scene, a big, shaggy yeti wraps both arms around a little bear cub. The yeti has a messy tuft of hair on top, round ears, a rounded nose, and a wide smile. The cub stands snug against his chest, hugging back with one paw and looking up with a happy face. Three snowflakes of different sizes float in the sky, and soft snowy mounds with a small mountain peak sit behind the pair. Long, wavy fur strokes give kids plenty of texture, and the shapes are big enough for small hands. Icy blue and lavender fur will give it a frosty-day feel, while a warm cream or light brown cub stands out in the hug. Print it free for a classroom project or a weekend craft. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big fur body, arms, legs and top hair of the yeti with pale blue, using gentle strokes that follow the fur direction.
- 2Color the yeti's face, ears, and both hands with peach, leaving the eye whites and the cub's body white.
- 3Color the yeti's nose with royal blue so it stands out on the peach face.
- 4Fill the two snowflakes at the top with sky blue, and leave the snowy ground and the polar bear cub white.
- 5Optional: Add a little darker blue along the edges of the yeti's fur for a bit of depth, and a soft peach tint on the cheeks.
