Coloring guide

Sideways on a tall birch trunk, a woodpecker presses its beak to the bark while little wood chips fly out. Its claws hold on tight and its long tail feathers brace against the trunk. It has a small crest, a round eye and scalloped wing feathers that are fun to color one by one. The trunk shows the horizontal bark marks of a birch. Leafy twigs hang in the top left corner, another leaf sprig grows on the right edge, and daisy-like flowers, small blossoms and grass fill the bottom. There are big open areas for younger kids and enough feather detail for older ones, and it's free to print. Try black and white wings with a bright red patch on the head, plus soft green leaves and grass. Add this to your Tree coloring page collection, alongside Star and Forest.
