Yeti Family Outside a Snowy Log Cabin

Coloring guide
Three smiling yetis stand close together in front of a snow-covered log cabin, with the little one in the middle wearing a knit pom-pom hat. The big yeti on the left has a striped scarf with fringe, the middle-sized one wears a scarf decorated with snowflakes, and the little one has a striped scarf as well. The two bigger yetis rest their hands gently on the little one's shoulders. Behind them are a smoking chimney, a wooden fence, tall pine trees and mountain peaks, with snowy bushes and mounds up front. All that fluffy fur gives kids plenty of texture to work with. Soft icy blues and lilacs suit the fur, and bright red and green for the scarves and hat will help the family stand out. Print this free page for a cozy winter afternoon at home or in the classroom. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Leave the big yeti, medium yeti and baby yeti fur, the snow, and the background white, keeping the eye whites, teeth and little shine spots clean.
- 2Color all the yeti faces, hands and feet with light peach, including the baby yeti's cheeks and chin.
- 3Color the big yeti's scarf and fringe red, the medium yeti's scarf and the baby yeti's scarf with pink, bright blue and pale blue stripes, leaving the snowflakes white.
- 4Color the pine trees with forest green, and the mountains and their shadows with pale blue. Color the cabin's wooden walls and window frames with warm brown.
- 5Color the baby yeti's hat with sky blue and light gray, and the cabin roof trim and the medium yeti's hair edges with very light blue.
- 6Optional: add a little very light blue shading along the edges of the snow and fur to give the scene some depth.
