Fox and Hedgehog Snacking on Berries

Coloring guide
Side by side on a fallen log, a smiling fox and a little hedgehog each hold a tiny cluster of berries. More berries are piled on a leaf resting between them, and the fox leans in as if chatting with its spiky friend. Tall fern fronds rise behind, with grass tufts and two spotted mushrooms in the bottom corners. The cut end of the log has a ring pattern, and bark lines run along its side. The fox has a big fluffy tail with a pointed tip, and the hedgehog wears a textured coat of quills. Large shapes suit young children, while the quills, ferns and mushroom spots give older kids detail to work on. Warm orange for the fox, soft browns for the hedgehog, and deep purple or red berries that stand out would look good. Free to print for a quiet afternoon. - 2Color the hedgehog's face and body in pale peach, and fill the spiky back with chocolate brown.
- 3Fill the log in chocolate brown and add sandy yellow on the rings at both log ends.
- 4Color the mushroom caps in bright red and leave the spots and stems cream.
- 5Add the berries in bright red and the berry bowl in caramel brown, then color the ferns and grass in leaf green and sage green.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker orange to the fox's shadows and a touch of baby pink inside the ears. Keep the eye whites white.
