Pouncing Fox Diving Into Fresh Snow

Coloring guide
Nose first, a young fox leaps into a snowdrift, and little puffs and splashes of snow fly out in every direction. Its big fluffy tail curls up high with a zigzag pattern near the tip, its ears are perked, and its wide eyes look down at the spot where it's about to land. The back paws haven't left the air yet. Rounded snow mounds run along the bottom and sides, and a thin bare branch with small clumps of snow stands on the left and on the right. Bold outlines and open shapes keep this free printable easy for kids. Orange on the body and tail works well, with the tail tip, chest and paws left white, and a soft light blue on the snow splashes will make them stand out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the fox's body, head, legs and bushy tail with warm orange, leaving the eyes and snow white.
- 2Color the tip of the fox's tail with soft cream to make it look fluffy and light.
- 3Fill the inside of both ears with coral pink, keeping the outer ear edges orange.
- 4Color the lower legs, both front paws and the dark patch on the cheek with chocolate brown.
- 5Fill the snow puffs and splashes around the fox with sky blue, leaving the snow mounds and branches white.
- 6Optional: add a few small darker orange strokes along the belly and tail to make the fox look rounder; leave the eye whites and snow highlights uncolored.
