Pumpkin Patch Fox With Autumn Leaves

Coloring guide
Right in the middle of a pumpkin patch sits a cheerful fox with big sparkly eyes, a tiny nose and its tongue peeking out. Its fluffy tail is curled around beside it. Large and small pumpkins with curly vines surround the fox, and maple-style leaves are scattered over the ground. A wooden fence stands in front of rounded bushes behind it, a leafy tree branch arches over the top corner, and a few leaves drift down through the air. Plenty of fluffy tufts on the chest, ears and tail make this a nice challenge for kids who like detail. Orange on the fox and pumpkins, a creamy white chest and tail tip, and reds, yellows and browns on the leaves would suit it well. Print this free page for a quiet, creative moment. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the fox: fill the face, chest, and paws with cream white, then color the tail, back, and legs in pumpkin orange, leaving the eye whites and the little teeth white.
- 2Color the inner ears coral pink and the fur tufts inside the ears cream white to give the fox a soft, fluffy look.
- 3Fill the big pumpkins and the small pumpkin in the front with pumpkin orange, then add burnt orange shading on the lower sides if you like.
- 4Paint the leaves and bushes: use leaf green and forest green for the foliage, and add golden yellow and maple red to the fallen maple leaves scattered around the pumpkins.
- 5Color the fence and the tree trunk in wood brown and dark brown, and fill the grass patches with olive green.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra tangerine to the pumpkin edges and the fox tail for a warmer glow, and leave the sky white as a clean background.
