Sleepy Fox Curled Into a Fluffy Ball

Coloring guide
Curled up in a round ball, this sleepy little fox has its fluffy tail wrapped around its body and its nose tucked in close. The closed eyes are drawn as two gentle curves, and the pointed ears stand up over tufts of fur on the head and cheeks. A zigzag, fur-edged tip on the tail gives you a spot for a second color. Underneath is a small patch of ground, with grass tufts on both sides and two leaves resting near the bottom corners. Bold, clear outlines and large open shapes are great for younger kids and beginners, while the fur details keep older kids busy. Orange for the body and tail, white or cream for the tail tip and cheeks, and dark brown or black for the nose would all work. Print this free page when you want a quiet, creative moment. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- warm orange
- cream white
- soft pink
- leaf green
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big curled body of the fox and its head, filling both with warm orange and leaving the closed eyes and the nose as they are.
- 2Fill the fluffy tail tip and the cheek area at the front with cream white, keeping the zigzag edge clean.
- 3Color the inside of both ears with soft pink, staying inside the dark outlines.
- 4Fill the two leaves on the grass with leaf green, and leave the grass blades and the background white.
- 5Optional: add a little darker orange along the curve of the body and under the head to make the fox look rounder.
